Summer Institute for the Gifted at Fairfield University
Student Schedules

Each student selects from the listing of courses to create a personal schedule. Students take three courses daily. Students choose courses from the appropriate level as indicated below:

DP10-15: courses for students in Kindergarten and Grade 1
DP20-31: courses for students in Grades 2 and 3
DP40-51: courses for students in Grades 4 through 6

Students attend classes Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., with a snack break at 10:15 a.m. and lunch at 12:00 noon. Students have recreational time following the last class from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
